Riyadh – Mubasher: The National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia (Bahri) received a very large crude carrier (VLCC) named Maharah on Monday.
By adding Maharah, the company’s fleet reached 38 carriers, according to a statement on Bahri’s website.
The received VLCC is one of those financed by Riyad Bank. The commercial operation of the carrier is expected to start by next July, according to a bourse filing.
The company noted that the financial impact will appear in the third quarter of this year.
