Riyadh – Mubasher: National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia (Bahri) announced that its subsidiary, Bahri Dry Bulk, signed contracts on Friday, 25 August, with Hyundai Heavy Industries to build four bulk carriers at a total value of $120 million.
The bulk carriers would be delivered in the first half of 2017, according to a filing to the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul).
Bahri is aiming to expand its own fleet to meet the increasing demands of the local and international markets, as each bulk carrier will have an 80,000-tonne capacity.
