Riyadh – Mubasher: The National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia (Bahri) announced that 80%-owned subsidiary The National Chemical Carriers took delivery of the third MR ship STI Chelsea, according to a bourse filing posted Wednesday.
In February, NCC signed a memorandum of agreement to purchase five second hand MRs ships.
The ship ownership was transferred to NCC and its name was changed to NCC Masa, said Bahri.
It added that the related financial impact is expected during the second quarter of 2016.
