Bangladesh plans to establish city for Saudi investments

Riyadh-Mubasher: Abul Maal Abdul Muhith, finance minister of Bangladesh, said his country submitted a plan to Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Finance to establish an economic city or an investment zone in Bangladesh.

The move is aimed at offering necessary facilities and luring more investments, Abdul Muhith told Al Eqtisadiah newspaper.

He added that his country seeks to boost its trade ties with Saudi Arabia, especially in some core sectors such as food and pharmaceuticals.

The minister called upon Saudi investors to visit his state and seize the investment opportunities available in all sectors.
