Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange’s (ADX) general index added 34.81 points, or 0.76%, to close at 4,585.4 points on Thursday.
The ADX’s trading volume rose to 91 million shares from 62.86 million on Wednesday, while the market’s liquidity increased to AED 151.72 million versus AED 137.16 million in the previous session.
The energy sector surged 2.97% after TAQA soared 6.67% and Dana Gas Jumped about 4.55%.
The banks sector gained 1.54%, as National Bank of Fujairah (NBF) leaped 12.83% and First Abu Dhabi Bank added 2.63%, while Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) rose 1.23%.
By contrast, the real estate sector tumbled 2.8% after Aldar Properties dropped 3.62%.
The telecommunications sector and its only stock, Etisalat, levelled down 0.28 each.
