Riyadh – Mubasher: Bank AlJazira will hold its extraordinary general meeting (EGM) on 10 April to discuss dividend distribution for 2016.
The company would distribute dividends representing 5% of its capital at SAR 0.50 per share, according to a bourse filing on Tuesday.
Shareholders of record at the end of the meeting's date will be entitled to receive dividends, which will be 15 days from the eligibility date.
The meeting will discuss establishing a company under the name Aman Bank Insurance Agency with a capital of SAR 500,000 to be fully owned by the bank.
The EGM will vote on mandating the board to distribute interim profits on the shareholders, the statement said.
The board and auditor's report for fiscal year 2016 will also be considered during the meeting.
Net profits declined 32.25% to SAR 872 million in 2016, compared to SAR 1.29 billion in 2015.
