Cairo – Mubasher: Loans provided by banks in Egypt, excluding the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE), increased by EGP 25.61 billion or 1.09% to EGP 2.38 trillion at the end of October 2020, compared to EGP 2.36 trillion a month earlier.
Loans offered to the government rose to EGP 765.79 billion last October from EGP 754.97 billion last September, according to a report released by the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, banks offered EGP 1.616 trillion in loans to non-government entities, compared to EGP 1.602 trillion in September 2020.
