Riyadh – Mubasher: Bank of China plans to inaugurate a headquarters in Saudi Arabia over the coming period, the Chinese ambassador in the kingdom said.
The Chinese commercial lender is currently working on finishing Saudi regulatory approvals, Aleqtisadiah newspaper reported, citing Li Huaxin.
The Asian official further noted Bank of China will be the second Chinese lender that has business in Saudi Arabia.
The number of Chinese firms operating in the GCC nation stands at 150, including around 40,000 employees.
