Mubasher: The Bank of England (BoE) fixed interest rates at a record low of 0.25%, according to a statement.
The Monetary Policy Committee agreed previously to maintain the stock of purchased assets financed by the issuance of central bank reserves at £375 billion.
The Pound sterling (GBP) rose 0.11% to reach $1.3220 by 11:30am GMT.
