Doha – Mubasher: The main index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) opened Sunday’s trading session on a lower note, coupling with a decline in all market sectors, the banking and industrial sectors in particular.
By 10:00am Qatar time, the benchmark fell 0.45% to 9792.69 points against 9,836.69 points registered by the end of Thursday’s session.
The index of banks and financial serviceswas the worst performer with a slide of 0.73% after Qatar National Bank, Doha Bank, Commercial Bank of Qatar declined by 1.14%, 0.28%, and 0.27%, respectively.
Likewise, the industrials index fell 0.46% as Qatar Industrial Manufacturing and Industries Qatar initiated the session lower 1.22% and 1%, correspondingly.
Around 400.5 million shares were traded in 287 transactions at a market turnover of EGP QAR 11.3 million.
