Banking, real estate drag QSE down early Sunday

Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) started Sunday’s trading session down, pressured by the drop of the banking and real estate sectors.

By 10:43 am Qatar time, the main index fell 0.22% or 19.3 points to 8,773.61 points.

The bourse's turnover amounted to QAR 27.8 million after 1.5 million shares were exchanged through 698 transactions.

The banking sector topped the QSE’s decliners falling 0.38%, while the real estate sector declined 0.13%.

Qatar National Cement’s stock topped the market’s gainers growing 1.62% at QAR 55.89.
