Mubasher: The banking sector has acquired around 65% of Boursa Kuwait’s liquidity in Thursday’s early trades with KWD 6.4 million, while the bourse's total turnover amounted to KWD 9.9 million.
By 9:35 am Kuwait time, the banking sector’s trading volume reached 14.52 million shares, making up 4.3% of Boursa Kuwait’s trading volume that hit 32.75 million shares.
Banks led the Kuwaiti bourse's risers, advancing 1.42% to 1,050.95 points.
The indices of Boursa Kuwait opened Thursday’s trading session with a massive hike. The Main Market index and the All-Share Market index rose 1.34%, while the Main Market Index and the Premier Market index inched up 0.9% and 0.03%, respectively.
