Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) announced that Thursday, 8 October, will be an official holiday on the occasion of the 6th of October victory.
Trading will be resumed on Sunday, 11 October, according to a statement on Monday.
In addition, the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) also announced that all banks will be closed on 8 October, following the Prime Minister’s announcement that 8 October will be a paid day-off for all employees working at ministries, state bodies, public-sector companies, and the private sector.
