Doha – Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) increased 0.19% or 19.88 points to 10,411.58 points early Wednesday.
The banks and industrials sectors went up 0.28% each, followed by telecommunications with 0.29%.
Islamic Holding Group, Masraf Al Rayan, Qatar Islamic Bank, and Qatar National Bank (QNB) rose 1.2%, 1.18%, 1.39%, 0.2%, respectively.
In the industrial sector, Aamal gained 1.38%, while Qatar National Cement and Gulf International Services increased 0.75% and 0.36%, respectively.
Ooredoo increased 0.3% and Vodafone Qatar added 0.21% in the telecoms sector.
On the other hand, transportation slid 0.43% as Gulf Warehousing Company decreased 0.57%, while Nakilat and Qatar Navigation tumbled 0.42% and 0.4%, respectively.
The real estate sector shed 0.01% as Ezdan Holding tumbled 0.38%, while consumer goods and services levelled down 0.04%.
In the meantime, traded volume reached 848,030 shares exchanged through 479 transactions, generating QAR 26.11 million.
United Development Company’s stock was the most active in terms of traded volume with 441,460 shares, while Masraf Al Rayan led the values with QAR 9.96 million.
