Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) gained 0.44% or 11.91 points to close at 2,727.39 points on Monday, boosted by its key sectors, namely real estate and banks.
A total of 269.40 million shares changed hands through 3,058 transactions, with total value of AED 291.286 million.
The transport sector rose 1.65% supported by Gulf Navigation’s stock, which gained 3.85%.
The real estate sector levelled up 0.71% after Emaar Properties and Arabtec Holding grew 1.22% and 2.14%, respectively.
The banks sector followed suit and increased 0.53%, supported by Emirates NBD’s stock that rose 1.11%.
On the other hand, the investment sector lost 1.03% after the SHUAA Capital fell 2.75%.
The insurance sector was the top loser, lagging by 1.92% after Takaful Al Emarat Insurance Co plunged 9.44%.
