Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange saw an upward trend on Tuesday, backed by a rise in the banks and real estate sectors.
The general index gained 0.21% or 8.2 points to reach 4,115.62 points by 10:50am UAE time.
The banks sector increased 1.68%, helped by the Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) and Union National Bank (UNB) which rose 2.6% and 2.46%, respectively.
The real estate sector levelled up 1.08% after Aldar Properties advanced 1.27%.
On the flipside, the telecom sector slid 0.62% as Etisalat went down 0.62%.
The investment sector retreated 0.97% due to a 0.97% decline in Waha Capital.
Turnover reached AED 39 million after 29.76 million shares were traded through 459 transactions.
