Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) rose at Monday’s open by 0.16% or 17.14 points to the level of 10,976.96 points.
By 10:00am Doha time, trading volume reached 1.4 million shares exchanged at QAR 38.3 million.
The banking sector advanced 0.52% as Doha Bank grew 1.84%, the real estate sector rose 0.13% as Barwa ascended 0.69%.
On the other hand, the industrial sector dropped 0.64% due to a 1.3% fall in Industries Qatar, the worst performer.
Mazaya Qatar led the trading activity with a volume of 708.2 million shares exchanged at QAR 10.8 million.
