Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The banks sector shed around 0.35% by 12:22 pm UAE time on Thursday on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX).
Bank of Sharjah lost 0.81% after 312,300 were shares traded at a turnover of AED 381 million.
United Arab Bank (UAB) tumbled 0.51% after the closing of only one deal for 13,500 shares, in consideration of AED 26,600.
First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) led the banks sector’s losers, dropping 0.48%, and acquired 17% of the ADX’s liquidity with AED 11.45 million through 50 transactions and 1.11 million traded shares.
Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) levelled down 0.27% after 353,800 shares were traded, generating AED 1.34 million through 16 transaction.
in the meantime, the general index sank 0.43% or 19.29 points to 4,465.87 points.
The ADX’s trading volume reached 36.1 million shares, generating AED 66.54 million through 322 transactions.
