Mubasher: The banks sector has acquired 51.2% of Boursa Kuwait’s trading value on Sunday.
By 11:53am Kuwait time, the banks segment registered liquidity worth KWD 14.72 million out of Boursa Kuwait’s total KWD 28.74 million turnover.
The banks sector posted a total of 29.9 million shares that accounted for 22.8% of the total 131.01 million shares traded at the stock markets.
The Kuwait Finance House (KFH) and the National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) recorded the highest trading value of KWD 5.84 million and KWD 5.52 million, respectively; a total turnover worth KWD 11.36 million or 77% of the banks segment’s liquidity.
NBK and KFH rose by 3.3% and 2.3%, respectively.
