Kuwait – Mubasher: The Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) was down during Sunday’s mid-session as the price index slipped 0.02% or 1.2% points to 5,390.63 points.
The weighted index shed 0.43% or 1.56 points, while the Kuwait 15 index lost 0.42% or 1.54 points.
Turnover reached KWD 7.6 million as 97.4 million shares were traded through 2,253 transactions.
The basic industries sector led losers, falling 0.8%, followed by banks which shed 0.53%, whereas the financial services and oil and gas sectors gained 0.7% and 0.5%, respectively.
KSE indices saw jittery trades on Thursday, coinciding with declines in most of the market’s sectors.
Gulf Cable and Electrical Industries was the biggest loser, plunging 8.2%, while Marakez led risers, surging 10.4%.
