Dubai – Mubasher: The main index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) saw the fourth consecutive rise at the end of Monday’s trading session as it levelled up by 0.34% or 9.21 points, closing at 2,736.55 points.
The bourse’s turnover reached AED 341 million where 352.59 million shares were traded through 2,969 transactions.
The market cap value gained AED 830 million, reaching AED 372.09 billion from AED 371.26 billion on Sunday.
The investment and financial services segment was the top gainer with 1.35%, whereas the consumer staples segment was the only decliner with 2.82%.
Amlak Finance rose by 15%, whereas DXB Entertainments declined by 3.35%.
Emirates NBD showed the highest turnover of AED 97.76 million, while Union Properties led the trading activity with 176.96 million shares.
As for the leading stocks, Arabtec Holding and Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) went up by 0.74% and 0.18%, respectively.
