Mubasher: The main index of Bahrain Bourse declined in Wednesday’s mid trading by 0.27% or 3.15 points to the level of 1,151.18 points.
By 10:30 AM Manama time, trading volume reached 197,220 shares exchanged at BHD 101,290 through six transactions.
The index was affected by the fall in the banks sector by 0.55% as Ahli United Bank (AUB) and National Bank of Bahrain shrank by 0.7% and 0.68% respectively.
AUB was the most active stock; making a trading volume of 100,000 shares and a turnover of BHD 64,500.
