Cairo – Mubasher: Banque Misr aims to borrow $750 million from international banks and institutions in fiscal year 2018/2019, vice chairman Akef El Maghraby said.
Egypt's second-largest state-owned lender’s loan and external agreements portfolio amounts to nearly $4.16 billion, Reuters reported citing El Maghraby.
The official has not mentioned any further details regarding the international banks and institutions Banque Misr negotiating with.
In May, chairman of Banque Misr said that the Egyptian lender had hired an international bank to obtain a $500 million loan.
