Cairo – Mubasher: Banque Misr has signed a EUR 500 million ($551 million) loan agreement with the European Investment Bank (EIB).
The aim of the three-year loan is to finance small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), as part of efforts to diversify bank’s SME financing resources.
This is the second deal for Banque Misr with the EIB after another EUR 500million loan was provided over two tranches, bringing the total to EUR 1 billion.
