Cairo – Mubasher: Banque du Caire is in talks with foreign entities to secure debt facilities ranging from $50 million to $100 million in finance, the bank’s chairman Tarek Fayed said on Sunday.
The bank is paying more attention to clients whose transactions involve foreign exchange, he added.
Banque du Caire is considering granting large loans amount to EGP 5 billion, the bank’s vice chairman Amr El Shafei revealed.
These loans will be given to companies operating in a variety of sectors including animal feed, food, and exporting, the top official noted.
El Shafei stated that the loans study will be completed by the end of 2018.
