Banque du caire seeks listing shares in Egypt’s bourse

Cairo – Mubasher: Banque du caire, Egypt’s public owned lender, submitted a formal request to the Egyptian Exchange in order to list 562.5 million shares worth EGP 2.25 billion with EGP 4 par value each.

Egypt’s bourse said it is currently studying the lender request in order to present it to the listing committee.

Earlier, Deputy Finance Minister for financial policies and institutional development Ahmed Kojak stated that the government has appointed each of HSBC and EFG – Hermes in order to prepare studies about floating stake in Banque du caire on the Egyptian Exchange.
