Mubasher: Barwa Real Estate achieved profits during the fourth quarter of 2016 versus losses in the same period a year ago.
Earnings amounted to QAR 93.18 million ($25.57 million) in Q4-16 against losses of QAR 527.83 million ($144.84 million) in Q4-15, according to a bourse filing.
During the fiscal year of 2016, profits shrank by 47.5% to QAR 2.605 billion from QAR 3.056 billion in FY15.
Earnings per share fell to QAR 4.13 in FY16 from QAR 7.86 in FY15.
The board members have recommended a cash dividend of 25% or QAR 2.5 per share for FY16, the statement added.
