Doha-Mubasher: Barwa Real Estate reported a surge of 177% in profits of the second quarter ended 30 June, 2016.
Net earnings reached QAR 550 million ($145.9 million) in Q2-16, compared to QAR 198 million ($52.5 million) in Q2-15.
Net profits increased to QAR 1.201 million in the first half of 2016 as compared to QAR 3,448 million in H1-15, according to a bourse statement.
“Earnings per Share (EPS) amounted to QAR 3.09 for the period ended 30.06.2016 compared to an EPS of QAR 8.86 for the same period of the previous year,” the statement said.
