Riyadh – Mubasher: Basic Chemical Industries (BCI) said it has extended its memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Juffali Industrial Products Company (JIPCO) for a month starting 11 April.
The project pertains to a joint venture for the production of chlorine and its derivatives, the chemical industries firm revealed in its statement to the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul).
Earlier this year, the company announced extending the MoU for a three-month period starting 11 January. The MoU signed in January 2015 entailed the production of 200,000 tonnes of chlorine products per year, with estimated cost of SAR 1.2 billion.
