Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Basma Group and Arada signed a management agreement with Minor Hotels to set up Sharjah’s Anantara hospitality resort.
The new resort will comprise 233 rooms and is scheduled to be opened by the first six months of 2020, according to a company statement.
Sharjah’s Anantara resort is jointly-owned by Basma Group and Arada, Basma Group added.
“Anantara is one of the world’s most prestigious luxury hotel brands, and this new property marks yet another hospitality milestone for Sharja,” said Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Basma Group’s and Arada’s.
“Anantara is very well established in the Middle East market, and adding a resort in Sharjah is a great opportunity to further extend the brand in the region and reach new markets,” Dillip Rajakarier, Minor Hotels’ CEO commented.
