Mubasher: Bahrain Bourse was dragged down on Tuesday by the banks and services sectors, as the benchmark index levelled 0.27% or 3.18 points down to 1,196.18 points.
Bahrain Islamic index lost 0.71% to close at 788.4 points.
Today’s turnover stood at BHD 90,500 ($236,400) as nearly 249,600 shares were traded.
Market cap decreased to BHD 7.089 billion.
The banks sector fell by 0.36%, affected by Al Salam and Ithmaar which retreated by 3.3% and 3.5% respectively. The services sector inched down 0.61% as Batelco lost 1.27%.
Arab Banking Corporation posted the highest liquidity of about $29,200 as 63,000 shares were traded through two transactions. The stock closed at $0.465.
