Mubasher: The main index of the Bahrain Bourse opened Wednesday’s trading with a growth of 0.33% or 3.82 points to the level of 1,147.30 points.
By 9:50am Manama time, trading volume reached 89,390 shares exchanged at BHD 45,560 through 5 transactions.
The rise was due to the increase in Batelco and Bahrain Islamic Bank (BIB) by 5.36% and 3.57% respectively.
Ahli United Bank led the trading activity with a volume of 64,390 shares exchanged at BHD 40,890. The stock stood at BHD 0.635.
