Mubasher: Bahrain Telecommunications (Batelco) said that its board has decided not to proceed any further with the sale of Umniah, a subsidiary in Jordan.
Batelco said in a bourse statement that this decision was in the best interests of Batelco’s shareholders.
It added that it is still assessing Umniah’s position, and will not enter negotiations or agreements to sell the subsidiary.
