Batelco to offer ICT services for two Amlak projects

Manama- Decypha: Bahrain’s digital service provider Batelco has signed a partnership agreement with the Social Insurance Organization (SIO)’s real estate subsidiary Amlak.

Based on this agreement, Batelco will offer technological services, data solutions, internal network infrastructure to Amlak’s “The Sixty Six” residential building in Umm Al Hassam, slated for 2018, according to a statement from Batelco.

Batelco will also install broadband and ICT infrastructure for “ENJAZ” residential project in Juffair, which comprises of 106 apartments.

“We will provide Amlak’s existing and future projects with an infrastructure capable of handling up to 500 Mbps broadband services, opening doors to other valued services such as Batelco TV,” said Muna Al Hashemi, Batelco’s Chief Executive.

Founded in 1981, Bahrain bourse-listed Batelco is providing information and communication technology services to local projects, with investments in 14 countries, including Jordan, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Yemen and Egypt.

Amlak has started operations in 2013 with several key projects in Bahrain.
