UAE – Mubasher: Emirati comprehensive geospatial solutions developer Bayanat has signed an agreement with US defence firm Collins Aerospace to develop advanced aerospace solutions.
The project will be developed under UAE’s Tawazun Economic Programme, which is overseen by the Tawazun Economic Council (TEC), according to the Emirates News Agency.
"We are pleased to facilitate this collaboration, out of our ongoing commitment to enable the UAE’s defence and security industry by promoting investments and projects across this vital sector," chief economic development officer at TEC, Matar Ali Al Romaithi, said.
The agreement between Bayanat and Collins will see a team of eight UAE engineers work on intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition, and reconnaissance project which includes software development, training, and systems integration among its components.
"The collaborative solutions will be developed and tested by Bayanat,” Bayanat’s CEO Mohammed Al Beloushi commented.
