Cairo – Mubahser: Beltone Financial Holding’s board of directors has approved the appointment of Maged Shawky as executive chairman and Ibrahim Karam as managing director.
Beltone’s board has also approved the resignation of its former chairman, Sameh El-Torgoman, and managing director, Bassem Azab, the company said in a statement to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Sunday.
The decision still awaits the approval of the company’s ordinary general meeting (OGM), the statement added.
Shawky previously served as vice chairman at Beltone Financial Holding for about three years.
