Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on Monday visited Virgin Galactic and Mojave Air and Space Base in the California desert.
British businessman and Virgin Group founder Richard Branson welcomed bin Salman and accompanied him during the tour, the local newspaper reported.
Branson briefed bin Salman on the cutting-edge technologies, in addition to a project of tunnels.
King Salman’s heir apparent was also briefed on the progress made by Galactic and its ambitious plan to launch the first spacecraft to monitor Earth.
Furthermore, bin Salman discussed opportunities to boost cooperation in modern technology through research, manufacturing and training Saudi youth in a bid to transform the Kingdom from a consumer of technology to a producer.
