Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman on Thursday arrived in China as a part of his Asian tour, which included Pakistan and India.
Bin Salman will meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping to discuss means of enhancing joint relations between the two Asian nations, according to Bloomberg News.
China acquired around 15% of Saudi exports and imports during 2018, according to data compiled by the US-based news agency.
The kingdom’s young leader is forecast to visit South Korea after China, the world’s largest oil consumer.
On Wednesday, Aramco’s CEO Amin Nasser stated that the firm considers India as a key destination for its investments.
In the same vein, Bin Salman signed five deals with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to step up cooperation in infrastructure, mining, energy, tourism, and housing sectors.
On Tuesday, Aramco, the largest global oil producer, was reportedly in talks with India’s conglomerate Reliance Industries for potential investments in the Asian country.
Moreover, the Saudi communications and information technology ministry inked two deals with major telecom companies in India.
