Bishah turns profitable in January; accumulated losses at 142% of capital

Riyadh – Mubasher: Bishah Agriculture Development on Thursday reported turning a profit in January 2017, after achieving SAR 12,000 ($3,200) in profits.

This is compared to the company’s SAR 53,000 ($14,230) in losses incurred in January 2016, according to a bourse filing.

Bishah’s accumulated losses by the end of January 2017 amounted to SAR 71.12 million, representing 142.24% of the company’s capital of SAR 50 million.

Gross profit for January 2017 reached SAR 30,000 compared to SAR 7,000 recorded in the same period last year, Bishah said in its statement.

It reported operating losses of SAR 49,000 last month compared to SAR 88,000 recorded in January 2016.
