Cairo – Mubasher: EGX main index kept moving upwardly on blue-chip stocks to record a rise of 1.15% to 7,603 points at 11:45am Cairo time.
Blue-chip stocks, including CIB, Global Telecom, Talaat Moustafa Group, EFG-Hermes, Palm Hills, and SODIC, led the upward tone with a rise ranging between 0.2% and 3%,
Foreigners were net buyers by EGP55.7 million, while nationals and Arabs were net sellers by EGP33.2 million and EGP22.5 million respectively.
Likewise, EGX50 rose by 2.4% to 1,499 points. EGX70 increased 0.86% to 383 points. EGX100 came 0.62% higher to 808 points in the mid-trading session
Trading value reached EGP345 million after 104.5 million shares were traded over 12,000 transactions.
The top gainers were Beltone Financial (+14.55%), Saudi Egyptian Investment(+10%), and Egypt Aluminum (+5.13%).
Meanwhile, the top losers were OHD (-4.87%), NBK – Egypt (-4.07%), and Edita (-3.27%).
