Cairo - Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) indices advanced collectively in Thursday's early trade.
The benchmark index EGX30 added 2.1% or 135 points to reach the level of 6,624 points on the gains of the leading stocks.
The stocks of Commercial International Bank (CIB), EFG-Hermes and Talaat Moustafa Group jumped 3.2%, 2.94% and 2.6% respectively, while the stocks of Global Telecom, Porto Group and Amer Group went up by 1.97%, 2.6%, and 4.8% respectively.
The equal-weighted index EGX50 added 1.31% to 1,134.4 points.
Similarly, the small and mid-cap index EGX70 edged up 0.22% to 359.95 points, while the broader index EGX100 inched up 0.45% to 755 points.
Thursday's early trade trading values recorded EGP 91 million, with 55 million shares changed hands through 2,400 transactions.
Foreign and Arab investors came as net buyers with EGP 10.1 million and EGP 1.4 million respectively, while local investors came as net sellers with EGP 11.5 million.
EGX is expected to see positive performance on Thursday, supported by the news of increasing the Saudi investments in Egypt to nearly $8 billion, technical analysts told Mubasher in earlier statement.
