Mubasher: The benchmark index of Bahrain Bourse (BHB) continued to rise for the fourth successive session, enhanced by the gains of AUB, Bahrain Islamic Bank and Alba.
The index grew 0.19% or 2.3 points to close at 1,230.54 points.
Bahrain Islamic index inched up 0.37% or 3.03 points to 815.78 points.
The industrial sector topped the gainers by adding 1.03%, backed by Alba which was the top winner as it rose 1.07%.
Banks sector levelled up 0.38%, boosted by AUB and Bahrain Islamic Bank which grew 0.72% and 0.88% respectively.
Meanwhile, the services and insurance sectors closed in the red zone, while the investment sector remained unchanged.
BHB’s market cap decreased to BHD 7.273 billion as compared to BHD 7.259 billion in the previous session.
Turnover stood at BHD 1.3 million, after 4.26 million shares were exchanged.
