Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) rose 22.97 points, or 0.45%, to close at 5,075.47 points on Monday, encouraged by the energy, real estate, and telecommunications sectors.
The ADX’s turnover amounted to AED 160.878 million on Monday, while the trading volume reached 60.46 million shares exchanged through 1,579 transactions.
By the end of the session, the bourse’s market capitalisation increased by AED 3.8 billion, recording AED 513.9 billion.
The services sector headed risers with 2.11% as National Marine Dredging Company jumped 14.29%.
Similarly, the energy sector grew 1.88% after ADNOC Distribution increased by 4.07%, while the real estate sector went up 0.53% on the back of Aldar Properties’ 0.57% growth.
The telecommunications sector and its only stock Etisalat added 0.36% each.
