Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) closed Tuesday on a high note on the back of the energy and real estate sectors.
The general index added 0.17% or 7.7 points to close at 4,593.11 points, nearing the 4,600-point level.
The index marked its eighth straight rise on Tuesday.
Traded volume fell to 86.25 million shares from 129.28 million on Monday, while turnover decreased to AED 128.72 million from AED 207.323 million.
The energy sector grew 0.5% after Dana Gas increased 1.28%, while the real estate sector grew 0.37% after RAK Properties and Eshraq Properties gained 2.53% and 1.27%, respectively.
The telecom sector and its stock Etisalat rose 0.28% each, while the banks sector added 0.10% after Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) went up 1.10%.
Manazel Real Estate was the most actively traded on the ADX, with AED 18.85 million in turnover and 30.52 million shares exchanged.
