Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) started Thursday’s trading session in green territory, encouraged by the sectors’ massive growth.
By 09:55 am Qatar time, the general index grew 0.51% to 10,275.79 points, adding 52.81 points.
Turnover amounted to QAR 42.87 million after 3.14 million shares were traded through 1,420 transactions.
The goods and services sector topped the QSE’s gainers adding 0.97% on the back of Medicare Group’s 5.66% hike, while the industrial sector went up 0.44% after QAMCO grew 1.84%.
Similarly, the banking sector inched up 0.02% as Qatar First Bank (QFB) rose 1.96%.
QAMCO’s stock led the market in terms of trading volume with 1.9 million shares, generating QAR 26.5 million in liquidity.
