Dubai-Mubasher: Dubai Financial Market (DFM) opened higher on Thursday, backed by blue chips, especially Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) and Arabtec Holding.
The general index added 0.8% or 26.8 points to reach 3,378.18 points by 10:40am UAE time.
The investment sector increased 1.65% as Dubai Parks and Resorts levelled up 3.6%
The banks sector gained 1.5%, boosted by DIB which rose 1.36%.
The real estate sector advanced 0.8% after Arabtec and Emaar Properties went up 1.16% and 0.8%, respectively.
The market saw trading of 161.8 million shares through 1,614 transactions, with turnover of AED 148.3 million.
