Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) saw a negative performance on Thursday morning due to a decline in blue chips.
The general index went down 0.6% or 41.2 points to reach 4,543.65 points by 10:30am UAE time.
Turnover reached AED 47.45 million after trading 31.9 million shares through 458 transactions.
The energy sector led losers after falling 4.4%, weighed by TAQA and Dana Gas which decreased 8.2% and 3.6% in a row.
The telecom sector retreated 1.8% after Etisalat levelled down 1.8%.
The banks sector fell 0.97% as First Gulf Bank (FGB) slid 0.4%.
The real estate sector decreased 0.4% after Aldar declined 0.4%.
On the flipside, the insurance sector increased 0.8%, followed by the industrial and services sectors
