Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) closed Sunday’s trading session with negative performance, pressured by the fall of blue chips.
The DFM’s general index declined 0.39%, or 10.24 points, to finish the session at 2,618.50 points.
Turnover amounted to AED 110.756 million after 116.389 million shares exchanged through 1,570 transactions.
The real estate sector headed the losers falling 0.68% on the back of Emaar’s 0.43% drop.
Similarly, the banks sector went down 0.59% as Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) plunged 1.03%, while the investment sector inched down 0.04% due to Dubai Investments’ 0.71% fall.
