Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market’s (DFM) general index lost 1.15% to close at 3,023.01 points on Tuesday, pressures by blue chips.
The real estate sector shed 2.4% after Drake and Scull International (DSI) dropped 4.9% to AED 1.16, while Emaar Properties went down 1.7% to AED 5.69.
The transportation sector declined 1.14%, as Aramex sank 1.5% to AED 3.99, while the investment sector fell 0.73% after DFM Company decreased by 1.12%.
The banks sector shed 0.6% after Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) lost 0.18% and the consumer staples sector sank 0.47%, as DXB Entertainments declined 0.52% to AED 0.384.
The DFM’s trading volume reached 116.82 million shares, while the market’s turnover hit AED 130.73 million.
