Doha – Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) indices moved lower on Monday, as QE index went down 0.74% or 83.65 points to close at 1,1213.85 points weighed by the leading stocks.
The market main index was dragged lower by the declines of the stocks of QNB, Ezdan Holding and Qatar Industries as they lost 1.63%, 0.26% and 1.21% respectively.
At the sectorial level, the telecom sector, banking sector, industrial & transportation sector and real estate sector went down by 2.22%, 0.98%, 0.74% and 0.17% respectively.
The insurance sector was the sole gainer as it added 1.01% on the gains of Qatar General Insurance that surged 1.01%.
The market witnessed 5.19 million shares changed hands worth QAR 204.8 million.
